EMDR Therapy
A proven therapy that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they lose their charge.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps your brain reprocess distressing or traumatic memories. Using brief sets of guided bilateral stimulation — often side-to-side eye movements, taps, or tones — painful memories lose their emotional charge so they feel like the past instead of the present. EMDR is a core specialty at Pray Counseling.
