EMDR Intensives

Extended, focused EMDR — hours or days of concentrated trauma work in one block, so you can move through healing faster than a weekly hour allows.

About EMDR Intensives

An EMDR intensive is concentrated trauma therapy: instead of a single 50-minute session each week, you work in extended blocks — a half-day, full day, or several days — dedicated entirely to your healing. For many people, that focus means real movement on trauma, PTSD, and stuck memories in a fraction of the calendar time. Intensives are a strong fit if weekly therapy feels too slow, your schedule makes consistent appointments hard, you’re traveling in from out of town, or you want to focus deeply on one issue. Stacy Pray — our founder and a seasoned EMDR therapist with 24 years of experience — now dedicates her practice to leading these intensives.

Frequently asked

How long is an EMDR intensive?

Intensives are tailored to you — commonly a half-day, a full day, or several days in a row. In a free consultation we’ll map out a format and schedule that fits your goals and your life.

Does insurance cover EMDR intensives?

Most insurance plans don’t reimburse the intensive format, so intensives are typically self-pay. We don’t want cost to be the reason you can’t heal — reach out and we’ll work with you to find a plan that makes it doable.
